The origins date back more than seventy years ago when the village five mills and farmers sold their olives existed. A lack of good distribution network, many people left the activity related to the oil. That was how the inhabitants of La Bisbal of Falset decided to buy the mill Fuster and give rise to the Cooperative in 1951.
The Cooperative is currently at the center of La Bisbal of Falset, a small village in the Priorat contact the Ribera del Ebro and very close to Garrigues. The area is drained by the river Montsant (Latin Montsacer) which gives its name to the mountain that houses the village, more than 372 meters of altitude.
Montsacer is a tribute to this territory and attributes that characterize it: the fusion of tradition and history with the idea of natural and healthy product.
